Ed was interviewed at talkingalcohol.com where you can find him answering tough quesitons!
which was sponsored by NOFAS and SAB Miller.

I began working in the field over 30 years ago and never thought I would spend my entire career doing research in this area. I thought it was a simple problem with a simple fix. I couldn’t have been more wrong. It has been a fantastic endeavor and I have gotten so many rewards from interacting with the kids who have been exposed and their dedicated and supportive families. Thank you again for allowing me to part of the discussion with you. I hope you found my responses reasonable. If not, I take full responsibility, as they are simply my opinions. FAS is a condition that can occur anywhere women drink while they are pregnant. With education and supportive interventions we can eradicate this devastating condition. Hopefully you will join me in this goal. And if you ever are at a meeting that I am attending come up and say hello.

There are a lot of useful websites available to help you sort through the issues of FASD and many provide useful resources to help locate services or provide educational materials.

I would suggest:

Thanks,

Ed Riley
